Research

SAfRI conducts high quality, collaborative, clinical research particularly using low cost, innovative technologies, so as to improve maternal, Newborn and child health outcomes especially among the poor.

Alongside, research, SAfRI continues to design interventions targeting Prenatal and postnatal mothers, newborns, infants and children within communities.

The key research activities we are involved in include joint or collaborative research projects with The University of University, University of Birmingham, University of Nottingham, Kings College London and University of Monarsh including an exciting project on application of butterfly for prevention of PPH in rural health facilities.

The research undertaken by SAfRI and in collaborations with other organizations is generating evidence that should support the operations of the organizations and other partner institutions locally and internationally.

Our work involves generation and dissemination of research, evaluation findings, policy briefs, abstracts and publications.
